Kissimmee School of Government
The Kissimmee School of Government is a free 11-week program open to all residents who live inside the City limits of Kissimmee. The program provides residents with a behind-the-scenes look at their local government through a series of tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. The Kissimmee School of Government progam runs for 11 consecutive Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m.-9:00p.m. beginning in late February and ending in early May. At the end of the program, residents are provided with information about advisory board and volunteer opportunities with the City of Kissimmee. Hispanic School of Government
The Hispanic School of Government is a 4-week program open to residents who live or own a business inside the city limits of Kissimmee. The program provides residents with a behind-the-scenes look at their local government through a series of tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. The classes are held on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. during the month of October and are taught completely in Spanish. At the end of the program, residents are provided with information about advisory board and volunteer opportunities with the City of Kissimmee. Leadership Osceola
Leadership Osceola County is a leadership development program coordinated by Community Vision. Each year approximately 30 people who represent the diversity of the Osceola County community are inducted into the program.Over the course of the program participants are introduced to our community, including social services, criminal justice, education, healthcare, governmental services, environment, economic development, community planning/vision, arts and culture. The Leadership Osceola program kicks off in mid-February with a two-day team building retreat. After successfully completing the challenges presented at the retreat, the remainder of the Leadership Osceola County program proceeds on a bi-weekly basis every other Wednesday. The Wednesday meetings lead the participants through a series of invigorating and insightful daylong experiences that cover a multitude of community-oriented subjects and issues. The program culminates in late May/early June with an enjoyable graduation ceremony.

Leadership Legends
Community Vision in partnership with the Osceola County Council on Aging, has designed this program to mirror many of the same topics, issues and experiences of the Leadership Osceola County program in a non-traditional way. This program is designed especially for those community members 55 years of age or older. Capitalizing on this often underutilized resource, our retirees and senior citizens, we will able to capture their strength and experience to tackle community issues.Leadership Legends will run concurrently with the Leadership Osceola program, mid-February to June. Over the course of the program participants are introduced to our community including social services, criminal justice, education, healthcare, governmental services, environment, economic development, community planning/vision, arts and culture. Through real life experiences, the class learns of the strengths and challenges of the community, in which they live and work. On a bi-weekly basis every other Wednesday, the program leads the participants through a series of invigorating and insightful daylong experiences that cover a multitude of community oriented subjects and issues.

Teen Leadership
Since 1996, this program has provided a forum for incoming High School Juniors and Seniors to meet face to face with present community leaders to learn about opportunities for involvement in the political and growth process of Osceola County and is a partnership with Valencia Community College, the Osceola County District Schools and Community Vision.Teen Leadership provides 25 to 30 teens from all Osceola County High Schools, hands-on, experimental learning curriculum to promote leadership and service to our community; helping to develop tomorrow's leaders today.
